The 2016 Florida Legislature appropriated $4 million to the 27 children's advocacy centers in Florida. Under the appropriation, the FNCAC is sub-awarding funding to the CACs in Florida for the 2016-2017 fiscal year. The Catalogue of State Financial Assistance (CSFA) number for FY 2016 - 2017 is 22.016.

The funds appropriated by the Legislature can only be used to provide direct services to children who have been abused or neglected. For a definition of the direct services that are funded by the State Appropriation, please click here.
At the beginning of the fiscal year, each CAC is required to submit a Budget setting forth how the CAC plans on spending the state funds during the fiscal year. To download the Budget form, please click on the Budget button on the left.
If, at any time during the fiscal year, any of the information contained in the Budget that you initially submitted to the FNCAC has changed, you must submit a Budget Modification form to the FNCAC setting forth the changes and how all of the funds you will receive will be spent. No later than the 15th day following the end of each month, the CAC must submit a Monthly Payment Request, a Monthly Service Activity Summary, and a Client Services Summary to the FNCAC. The Monthly Payment Request serves as an invoice for services provided for which payment from the FNCAC is requested. To download the Monthly Payment Request, please click on the appropriate button on the left. These three forms must be submitted in both PDF and Excel version.
At the end of each reporting quarter (September, December, March and June), the CAC must submit two reports to the FNCAC. The first report is the Data Report, which contains demographic information, the number of unduplicated children receiving services and the number of services provided during the reporting period. To download the Data Report, please click on the appropriate button on the left. Please make note that there are four tabs at the bottom of the form; one tab for the report for each quarter. The Data Report must be submitted by the 15th day of the month following the end of the Quarter.
The second report the CAC must submit is the Quarterly Revenue and Expense Report. This report reflects the revenues and expenses of the CAC during the previous quarter providing the direct services the CAC said it would be providing in the Budget that was submitted to the FNCAC. To download the Quarterly Revenue and Expense Report, please click on the appropriate button on the left. The Quarterly Revenue and Expense Report and the suporting documentation must be submitted to the FNCAC no later than 30 days following the end of each Quarter. A Profit and Loss Statement or a General Ledger from the CAC’s accounting system (i.e. QuickBooks, Peachtree, etc.) must be submitted as supporting documentation. If the CAC’s accounting system is not capable of generating a profit and loss statement or a general ledger log, copies of cancelled checks/bank statements or copies of a credit card statement for all purchases must be submitted.
There is a $50 per day fine for submitting any of the required reports described above after the respective deadline for each report.
